The spokesman for the Russian Aerospace Forces Igor Klimov announced on Tuesday that Russian Su-24 warplane has dropped two BETAB-500 concrete-piercing bombs at two positions of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in Syria.

In a statement published by RT website, Klimov said that that the two bombs, weighing 500 kilograms each, used to destroy well-protected fortified underground bunkers and they are not dropped at towns.

He added that the airstrikes resulted in destroying the two positions totally.

During the last two days, Russian Air Force carried out 131 sorties in implementation of the agreement between Syria and Russia to combat international terrorism and eliminate ISIS, destroying 237 terrorists’ sites in Hama, Lattakia, Homs, Aleppo, Raqqa and Damascus Countryside.
