President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and the government don’t take significant actions against oligarchic clans. This point of view was expressed by the leader of the «Batkivshchina» party Yulia Timoshenko in an interview published in the German magazine Spiegel on Saturday, reports TASS.
«There is no war against the oligarchs, everyone works together with them. However, as long as their monopoly won’t be destroyed, Ukraine won’t have a free market economy. Reforms are implemented reluctantly, and people feel that. 72% of Ukrainians say the country is moving in the wrong direction», — she told.
According to politician, «the new leadership is influenced by (oligarchic) clans, which was formed over the last 24 years.» «Almost all TV channels and most of the Ukrainian economy belong to them, they continue to run the country», — said Timoshenko.
