In London was arrested the former Nigerian oil minister and current president of OPEC Diezani Alison-Madueke, reported Reuters, citing a source in the presidential circles in Nigeria, and a source close to Madueke’s family.

The London police said there was no report on Madueke arrest. National criminal agency of the United Kingdom has failed to respond promptly to the agency’s request.

Madueke was a part of President’s Jonathan Goodluck government and held the post of first minister of transport, minister of the coal industry and oil minister.
