Prime Minister of Latvia: we won’t agree with redistribution of refugees in the EU countries

The Prime Minister Laimdota Straujuma is strongly disagree with the system, which provides the redistribution of new refugees in the countries of the European Union, including their accommodation in Latvia.


The Latvian Government considers that it’s necessary to work on eliminating causes of refugee flows, and therefore on September 23, at an extraordinary summit of the EU, she intends quite tough to say that Latvia doesn’t agree with the proposed formula of refugees redistribution.




«If every week will be referred new figures how many refugees should be taken, it would create confusion and discomfort among nations, groups and parties. And such situation won’t be only in Latvia».
